Community Wellness

Vitality, strength, balance, clarity, connection, confidence, joy. These are some of the qualities that we cultivate through yoga and massage.

Group yoga classes in public and private health care settings are designed to complement patients' programs of medical care, and support and rejuvenate providers during their busy workdays. Kate combines invigorating elements of Iyengar and vinyasa (flow) in her classes, followed by a cool-down of restorative poses. She places emphasis on careful attention to alignment and breath, and the healing power of acceptance and kindness. Classes are taught in English and Spanish, and chanting is integrated into the practice as a tool for harmonizing body, mind, and spirit. New and continuing students are encouraged to attend.
